Esparanza La Gallardia – or loosely translated “Hope and Grace” is a 2000 Dun Foundation Kiger who was adopted at the Burns, Oregon BLM facility in 2004 by the Double L Ranch. She is our leading brood mare and is a striking example of the Kiger. She has the most graceful floating trot we have ever seen. Her foals are large and strong. She is smart, wary and a great mother. She is a spirited, athletic horse.

Bailarin Del Vaquero
Bailarin Del Vaquero – The “Cowboy’s Dancer” is a Dun 2004 filly is by Bendicion Del Vaquero (Foundation) and out of Bonita Sorilla, granddaughter of Steens Kiger. She has been nicknamed Chanel for her grace and beauty. She is an excellent trail horse who has been ridden on the trails at Gettysburg and worked cattle in Oregon. She is gentle, a quick learner and loves to jump. At slightly over 15 hands, she is still growing. We expect her first foal in 2009.

Prada’s Dream
Prada’s Dream - Prada is an elegant 2005 very dark grulla filly by Tesoro Del Corozon out of Desiderata Con Riqueza both grullas owned by the Double L Ranch. She was acquired as a weanling. She has gentle eyes, a small star and a two swirl forhead. In the years that we have had her she has never panicked. She was broke out as a two – year old and acceptd a saddle and rider without bucking. She is fast, collected with excellent conformation and a very solid mind. She should make an excellent brood mare.

Bejou’s Dream
Bejou’s Dream – Bejou is a 2006 Dun filly by Tesoro Del Corozon out of Kiger Misty Morning, both Foundation Kigers. She was acquired as a weanling and has come a long way. She is a kind and gentle filly who loves to please. She has a white diamond on her forehead, excellent conformation and should make an exceptional all around horse.
